Wolf Carr, son of acclaimed local vocal coach Susan Carr, has been teaching in the Seattle area for five years. His teaching style is steeped in technique for the contemporary singer. This technique gives the modern singer tools to not only achieve their vocal goals and dreams but also maintain vocal health, keeping the instrument in top form. His teaching concepts can be applied to all styles of music. In the lessons he works on endurance, control, range, power and performance, giving students the knowledge of how to use their voice properly without hurting or straining the throat.
Wolf graduated from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston where his principle instrument was voice. He studied composition, film scoring, and vocal pedagogy while at Berklee as well as performing and recording. Wolf has extensive experience in the local Seattle music scene. He plays in the bands-wesafari and Jen Wood, which perform, record and tour regularly. Wolf has studied with celebrated vocal teachers Charles Sorrento, Marlon Saunders, Anne Peckham, and Susan Carr.
