Lessons
Vocal lessons are one hour in length and they are $40 a session. The lessons are usually broke up into two, thirty-minute sections. The first half of the lesson Wolf works on technique with the student-vocal and breathing exercises that will help extend range, increase endurance, show proper support for producing a scream and preserving the voice, teach the basic anatomy of the vocal instrument, instruct on the production of making different types of timbres and dynamics with the voice as well as just learning the basics of vocal production. Also breathing exercises are practiced so the student learns the correct way to breathe when singing. The second half of the lesson original material or a certain song style is worked on. Wolf and the student try to apply the techniques and concepts that were learned in the first half of the lesson to the song material. Each lesson is customized to the specific needs of the student.
All lessons are digitally recorded and each student receives a copy of the lesson so that they can practice during the week. Wolf recommends that students practice regularly outside of lessons. Daily practice is ideal, and students who commit to practicing 20 minutes per day achieve the greatest growth and improvement.
